Health Psychologist

MHCP: $238 per 60 mins if paid by the day of service - Medicare Rebate: $96.65 (as of July 1, 2024). Out-of-Pocket Cost: $141.35 with a valid mental health care plan after the Medicare rebate.

Private Health Insurance: If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for rebates on sessions with a psychologist. The rebate amount and any applicable waiting periods depend on your insurance provider and your extras cover policy.

To determine your eligibility and the rebate amount, please contact your health insurer directly. They may require the item codes listed on your invoice. The psychological session item codes are as follows:

701 – Initial Online Therapy Session with a Psychologist

801 – Follow-up Online Therapy Session with a Psychologist

DVA: DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.

NDIS: The NDIS psychology fees will differ depending on which state or territory you reside in and whether you are located in a remote location. Please email engage@socrahub.com.au to inquire.

Socra Hub is not a bulk-billing service. Gordon does not complete assessments or provide medico-legal reports.
